Privacy policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

This policy explains what BlubirdIQ LLC ("BlubirdIQ", "we") collects when you use blubirdiq.com and its contact form, how we use it, and who we share it with. It covers this marketing site, which is written for mortgage lenders and brokers. Where BlubirdIQ runs consumer-facing pages (for example a mortgage eligibility form on another address), those pages carry their own privacy notice, and this policy does not replace it.

What we collect

Information you give us through the contact form: your name, company, work email, phone number (optional), your role, the states you cover, and anything you write about your box. We keep what you send; we do not ask for anything else.

Information collected automatically: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time). This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies today. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads; that request is governed by Google's privacy policy.

If you become a buyer, we also hold the business contact details of the people on your team who work with us, in our lead distribution platform, our email and our accounting system.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, quote your box and set up your account; to deliver leads and run the returns process once you are a buyer; to send service communications about your account; to keep our books; and to detect abuse of the site or the form. We do not add you to a marketing list because you sent an enquiry.

Who we share it with

Service providers that run the site and our business on our behalf: hosting (Vercel), transactional email delivery (Resend), our mailbox (Google Workspace), our lead distribution platform and our accounting software. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Lead records we deliver to buyers contain consumers' personal information collected under those consumers' own consent and notices. A buyer's use of that information is governed by the buyer agreement and applicable law, not by this policy.

Retention

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a buyer, for the life of the relationship plus the period our business and tax records require. Server logs are kept for a short, rolling period by our hosting provider. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (including California), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, to have it corrected or deleted, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. To make a request, email hello@blubirdiq.com from the address you used with us; we may ask for information to confirm it is you.

Security

The site and the form run over encrypted connections and the data is stored with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version here with a new date. Material changes to how we handle information you have already given us will be notified by email where we have an address.
